Circa: 1870 Manufacturer: Staffordshire potter
Here is a matching Staffordshire white ironsstone pitcher and bowl.
This plain shape was in vogue during the 1870s. Many Staffordshire potters made variations of this shape. Both pieces are unmarked, so we cannot attribute it to a specific potter. It is a graceful design that would blend with many styles.
The pitcher is 11 3/4 inches tall. The bowl is 13 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches tall. Both pieces are in excellent antique condition, free of all chips, cracks, hairlines, stains. |
