This distinctive dark blue transferware bowl measures 10 inches wide by 4 inches tall. Note the lovely embossed border in white and dark blue handles. The scene features Asian images - pagodas, junks, foliates and florals among other elements.
It has no chips or cracks. The blue handles may have had some work at some time. I say this because they feel a little different from the rest of the piece and evince a bit of blistering. It's still gorgeous, and because of my concern about possible restoration, I am pricing it right. |
