Here is a middle size Staffordshire white ironstone plate, 8 1/2 inches wide in Fig Shape. It was made in the John Wedgwood pottery and dates to 1856.
Though there are no chips or cracks, there is some toning to this plate. Utensil wear is also evident. It remains a beauty and is priced to sell. |
