This paneled sauce tureen was made in the pottery of John Alcock. It dates to 1854. This is Stafford Shape, a paneled design with a large bud finial and sharp foliates.
It measures 7 1/2 inches wide by 7 inches tall. It is in fine shape with one small thing to declare, a tiny chip to the underside of the base. It is otherwise free of all flaws. Glaze is shiny. |
