Condition is excellent - no chips, cracks, hairlines, stains, re restorations. The pretty backstamp gives the pattern name.
We love the color. The background on the surround is stippled in pink with images of butterflies (or are they moths?) and foliates in dark pink or red. I think dark pink is more accurate. The images alternate with other images in white with butterflies and flowers.
The central scene shows a formal park with a fountain that has a sculptured figure atop it. The edge of the plate is gracefully scalloped. |
