Condition: Excellent antique condition Manufacturer: Adams, Staffordshire Potter
This unusual romantic pattern is known as Temple Warriors, though the pottery never actually named it. It measures 8 inches wide. This plate was made in the early years of the William Adams pottery and dates to the 1820 - 40 period. Condition is excellent.
Two figures in elaborate garb stand b before a stylized temple. One appears to be holding a sceptre.
The surround is highly scalloped, dimensionally beaded, and bordered in white. |
