Manufacturer: Minton, Staffordshire potter Here is a large and early Willow platter in blue transfer. It was made in the Minton pottery and bears its backstamp.

Measurements are 18 by 14 1/2 inches.
Willow pattern is one of the earliest designs;; it is still being made today. This is an early one, c. 1800 - 1830. Note the combed back design.
Condition is excellent - no chips or cracks. |
