Manufacturer: Staffordshire potter The teapot presented has hand-painted sprig designs. It is very well molded and measures 10 1/2 inches long by 8 inches tall.

It has blue pooling of its pearlware glaze, a sign of its early potting. It dates to the 1840 - 50 period.
There is a chips on the top as pictured. The lid has a little chip on the interior flange, also pictured. It is not seen unless the lid is upended. There are no other flaws.
