Manufacturer: Staffordshire potter
Here is a sprigged porcelain cup and saucer. The pattern of field flowers with red and blud petals with green folliates was done both by women of leisure for pleasure and by country women for profit during the nineteenth century. Because the scale and color is the same with different painters, pieces done by different artists work well together.
The cup is 4 inches wide excluding the handle by 2 inches tall. The deep sipping saucer is 6 inches wide by 1 inch tall.
Condition is excellent - no flaws. We have several of these, so if you want multiples, please contact us. |
