Here is a small blue transfer toddy plate, made in the Podmore Walker & Co. pottery. It dates to 1834 - 59.
This ironstone plate measures 5 1/4 inches wide by 1 1/4 inches tall. The scene is framed by elms and features a classic urn in a garden setting, two figures on river's edge with the lady holding a parasol, and classic buildings. The surround consists of linear patterning and scrolling.
It is in excellent condition with no flaws.
