The blue transfer plate presented here measures 9 1/4 inches wide. The pattern is entitled Gipsy, a misspelling of Gypsy. We love this design which features a peasant family at a campfire under a craggy tree. The scene has a rectangular frame of florets with scrolling around and pebble and vine patterning on the surround. We have two of these plates, so contact us if you are interested in both.
The backstamp is a diminutive of the design. |
