Here is a large blue transfer plate with a pattern that is no found often, Tyrol Hunters. It measures a 10 1/2 inches wide by 1 inch tall. The surround is bordered in white, and the scene is sharply transfered.
It is in excellent condition, free of all flaws. Glaze is shiny. The pattern shows two hunters at rest on the banks of a river. A thrid figures is in the process of crossing a foot bridge.
The surround has multiple areas of patterning, swags, and flowers - very pretty. |
