It is a heavy ironstone platter whose romantic blue transfer pattern is entitled Coburg.
The design features a whimsical chalet on river's edge. The surround has scrolling and flowers. Condition is excellent - no chips, cracks, hairlines, stains, or restorations.
It was made in the pottery of E. & C. Challinor and dates to 1842 - 67. |
