This blue transfer plate measures 10 1/2 inches wide. It is approaching the size of a charger. The pattern is entitled Swiss Lake and Village, a design made by the Davenport pottery. It bears the pottery's name and imprinted anchor backstamp. It dates to 1836.

Condition is excellent. There are no chips,cracks, hairlines, stains, or restorations. Some utensil marks can be found with close examination, but they do not detract from its beauty.
