Here is an 8 1/2 inch plate with a blue transferware scene of a large castle or priory. The facade is very similar to the Spanish castle, Alhambra.

The surround has scenic reserves separated by linear patterning. We have several of these plates, so if you want multiples, please let us know.
The potter is E. Challinor, and the title of the scene is Priory. The pottery operated from 1845 - 1862.
It is in fine condition, free of flaws. |
