Here is a pretty, rather small, white ironstone tureen, 11 inches long.

It is decorated with an oversized berry finial and sharp leaf foliates on the lid and on the sides around each leaf-shaped handle. This is Sevres Shape. It was made in the pottery of Edward Pearson and dates to 1853 - 60.
Condition is excellent - no chips, crack, hairlines, stains, or restorations. The piece does have some crazing, particularly on the lid. |
