We present here a lovely floral Staffordshire 9 inch plate in vibrant pink transfer. The skillfully transferred and highly detailed. The pattern is entitled Sicilian Flowers. We have dealt in Staffordshire transferware for many years. This is the first time that we have seen this pattern.
Ths surround is bordered in white, highly scalloped, and dimensionally beaded. By its characteristics, we would date it to the 1820 - 30 period. The plate is in excellent condtion, free of chips, cracks, hairlines, stains, and restorations. |
