Manufacturer: Staffordshire Here is a beautiful blue transferware pitcher, 10 1/2 inches tall. We love this particular shape.

The Adams pottery used the body for several of its transfer patterns. This particular pattern is Persia. The William Adams pottery produced it during the early decades of its operation, c. 1819 - 1830. The pattern was used later in the century, but this shape was not.
Note the graceful handle and prominent spout. It is in excellent condition, free of all flaws. It is marked with the pattern name and pottery initials. |
