This red transfer plate measures 9 1/2 inches wide. The pattern is Pantheon, a design of classic images in a mountainous setting.
It was made in the potterh of Ridgway & Morley, c. 1842 - 44. Condition is very good. There is one indentation flaw of the face that was glazed over in the original firing. It has suffered no damage - no chips, cracks, hairlines, stains, or restorations. |
