Condition: Excellent antique condition Manufacturer: Staffordshire
Here is a small child's plate, 5 inches wide with embossed rose designs on the surround. It bears part of a children's story. In the center is George, who has returned to find his possession gone. Other children look on as they straddle a split-rail fence. It reads, "George ran to the spot, but his fate had been seal'd, for a plough-boy in passing, while George left the field, had carried it of (sic) as his prize." Condition is excellent - no flaws. |
