Green Transferware Plates, Angels Here is a heavy white ironstone plate, 9 1/2 inches wide. The green transfer design is that of three angels. The white ironstone plate is bordered on the edge. The backstamp is that of the Turner pottery.

It is free of chips and cracks. The glaze shows some crazing and a line of very faint green underglaze, done in the making. This would be a nice display piece for the Christmas holidays.
